The Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) event for January is a movie and pizza party from noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, January 19 in the Event Center at Christ Community Church.
Pizza and beverages will be provided by SAM.
The movie will be “I Can Only Imagine.” The popular Christian movie is the story of Bart Millard, lead singer of the Christian group MercyMe. The movie details how Millard suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his father, Arthur, played by Dennis Quaid. When Arthur becomes terminally ill, he finds redemption by embracing his faith and rediscovering his love for his son. Years later, Bart was inspired to write the hit song “I Can Only Imagine.”
