CARE & COUNSELING

Care at C3

We’re Here to Help

Because of God’s great love and compassion for us, we are compelled to care for others. As a community that seeks to love and walk through difficult journeys with each other, we endeavor to care for those among us in need.

Benevolence Fund

Get Help. Give Help.

No one is immune to tragedy. It’s a painful side effect of life in a post-Genesis 3 world. But through the gospel’s imperatives, we are given a vision for bearing one another’s burdens and pushing back against the darkness—together. The Benevolence Fund is a special mercy ministry of Christ Community where those who call C3 home can contribute anonymously to assist other members and regular attendees of our congregation who are unable to cover basic financial needs — rent, utilities, groceries, gas, car repairs, counseling — due to job loss, life transition, or a financial strain. It’s a fund that allows us as a community to get help and give help. To inquire about receiving benevolence from Christ Community, contact Care Coordinator BJ Hutchins.

Specific Areas for Care Connection

Need a Hand? We Want to Help

Recovery Congregation

The State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health Services has designated Christ Community Church as a Recovery Congregation. The designation recognizes our role as host to various recovery groups and our commitment to providing counseling and support to those in recovery and their families. To find a Recovery Meeting, see the schedule of regular meetings on our campus throughout the year here.

Partners in Grief

Partners in Grief is a ministry consisting of lay persons committed to sharing the burden of grief with Christ Community Church members and the community of Franklin. Grief is not only a natural response to the death of a family member or a loved one, but it is also instructed in scripture for believers to grieve with hope. For more information, contact Jere Jeter (615-336-9260) or BJ Hutchins (629-401-9705).
