SAM: May Luncheon with Alpacas

Loading Events
Willow Creek Alpacas in College Grove will be the site of the next Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) event.  This bring-your-own lunch event will be Thursday, May 19 at the farm owned by C3 members Gary & Suzie Conn.
We will meet at noon at the farm, located at 6861 Arno-Allisona Road in College Grove, TN, about a 30-minute drive from the church. Bring your lunch and beverage and a chair.
After we have our lunch we will get a tour of the farm.
Please sign-up by responding to this email at [email protected] or signing up in the second-floor hallway during the Senior Adult Sunday School hour in the C wing. We will have more details in the near future about carpooling from the church. If interested in carpooling let us know too. We will leave the church at about 11:30 a.m.
Willow Creek Alpacas is nestled in a beautiful little cove southeast of Franklin.  The Conns have raised alpacas since 2005.  They have bred the animals and also helped folks start their own herds and learn how to sheer the animals, which have a soft fleece, considered the second most precious fiber in the world. It is as durable as wool but much softer. Alpacas originated in the Andes Mountains of South America and have only been raised in the U.S. since the 1980s.
Come and join us for this fun afternoon.
