Serving Our Community
HOST TEAM: Radical Hospitality is one of our core values, and it takes our entire community to share the welcome of Christ with all who enter our doors. Serving as a part of our Host Team is an excellent way to get involved on Sunday mornings, and a great opportunity to meet new people as well! We have many ways to participate and multiple levels of commitment, from greeting people at the doors to helping with snacks and coffee. Contact Lisa by e-mail to learn more.
COMMUNION SETUP: Each Saturday morning, volunteers help us setup for weekly communion – this is an excellent way to serve the community with options to sign up for single or recurring dates. Contact Melinda (by phone at 615-468-2256 or by e-mail) to learn more.
C3 KIDS: Little followers need big leaders – volunteer to help us love, nurture, and disciple the littlest members of our community! We seek volunteers who have a vibrant relationship with Christ, a desire to share that joy with our kids, and a commitment to serve with excellence. As we offer programs for children from birth through the 5th grade on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we have multiple ways to serve and multiple levels of commitment available. Contact Amy (by phone at 615-469-2291 or by e-mail) to learn more.
ART & MEDIA: Throughout the year, we have special events and projects requiring photographers, videographers, graphic designers, painters, and illustrators – both adults and students, professionals and enthusiastic hobbyists welcome! If you are interested in sharing your gifts with our community, contact Natalina (by phone at 615-414-1487 or by e-mail) to learn more.
CONGREGATIONAL CLEAN-UP DAYS: Stay tuned to our weekly Sunday bulletin and the C3 Connect Newsletter to find out about our upcoming Congregational Clean-up Days, held twice each year. Held on Saturday mornings, this is a great day for everyone to pitch in with cleaning, landscaping, and organization. All are welcome for this great time of fellowship and stewardship!
Serving Our City
ROOM IN THE INN: Throughout the year, we host homeless men from our community on Sunday evenings here at the church, offering our guests a wonderful meal, a hot shower, haircuts, laundry service, a clean bed, a hearty breakfast, a sack lunch, and most importantly, love and welcome. There are a number of ways to get involved with this ongoing ministry – view the 2017 sign up form to see different needs and ways to serve, or contact Kim (by phone at 615-468-2265 or by e-mail) to get involved.
GRACEWORKS: In 1995, GraceWorks Ministries was launched as a collaborative effort between the church and the community, providing a central place to send people who needed help with food, clothing and financial assistance. Today, GraceWorks has expanded its reach to focus on family support, instructional programs, seasonal needs, and hunger prevention. We invite members of our community who feel called to support this ministry to look into the different volunteer opportunities available at GraceWorks. Additionally, we host a month-long food drive each Spring and regularly post specific opportunities to serve through GraceWorks on The City.
FRANKTOWN: Franktown Open Hearts exists to bring spiritual and physical hope to Williamson County’s inner city youth by “being Jesus” in their lives and teaching them critical life skills. We invite members of our community who feel called to support this ministry to look into the different volunteer opportunities available at Franktown. Additionally, we host a weekly dinner in our Event Center on Thursday evenings throughout the year and post specific opportunities to serve through Franktown on The City.
