The Commission is to make disciples – baptizing and teaching – and Jesus promises to abide with us as we carry forward his commission.

We desire to recover this aspect of our mission and make it central once again. The Great Commission has been the Great Omission for far too long. We want to recover discipleship, deeply rooting people in a theological soil, as a distinctive characteristic of our mission. We want to change the question from “Do you go to church?” to “Are you being discipled?”

Jesus came not only to die, but to make disciples. He calls us to be those disciples and then in turn to make disciples, starting at home and moving into the church and the world. He was formed in his parent’s home, he lived in community, and he secures your future life because of his once and for all death on the cross.
