We are thrilled to have you join us for Easter 2022 at Christ Community Church on April 17.
Here are a few details to help you best engage with us this Easter Sunday.
- We will offer two services, 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., with in-person, outdoor, and livestream options available for both services.
- Nursery and childcare will be available for both services.
- Our Easter Celebration Hour kicks off at 10 a.m. with coffee, the C3 Kids Hat Parade in the Narthex, and free family photographs.
- You are encouraged to bring stems to contribute to the Flowering Cross on the front lawn.
- Free family photos will be available throughout the morning.
While outdoor worship will be available for both our 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, we will make a call on any weather-related cancellations by 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, and there will be overflow indoor seating available as well as normal indoor seating in the Worship Center.
The Easter Hat Parade is ideal for Preschool and Elementary-aged kids where homemade hats are highly encouraged. Make a silly hat, a funny hat, a crazy hat. . . get creative and have fun! On Easter morning, we will open up a hat-making station at 9:45 a.m., in B102/103, for guests to make a hat and join in the parade. Everyone joining the parade will gather in the Event Center starting at 10:15 a.m. The Parade will begin at 10:30 (starting in the B-Wing, through the Narthex, down the D-Wing, and through the Crossover, ending in the Event Center). Parents, Winners will be announced immediately following the parade in the Event Center, with prizes awarded to the top Preschool and Elementary winners. Parents will pick up children from Event Center immediately after.
At C3, we love to celebrate children and the Easter Hat parade is a community-wide event in which we all take part! Confetti will be passed out along the parade route so all can celebrate as the kids pass by in their creative hat creations.
