Will I fit in?
Christ Community Church is made up of all kinds of people, from all walks of life. Like heaven, it’s a cosmopolitan community of people whose real connection isn’t ethnicity, politics, marital status, educational choices, economic standing, fashion style, musical preferences, or even a favorite SEC football team; our sense of belonging together is found in our shared faith in Christ. Some of us have been Christians for many years and some of us are just starting out on this amazing journey of faith, hope, and love. Some of us would say we’re deeply convinced about our Faith, and others of us would say we struggle with doubts. Still many others attend who have not yet committed one way or the other when it comes to being a follower of Jesus, and would say they are thinking deeply about his claims while they wrestle with important questions about faith and life. In short, CCC is a spiritual home for all kinds of people and it’s our aspiration to offer hospitality and sanctuary to all who come, whether with or without faith, and at whatever place in this journey they find themselves. When you worship with us you will find people like you and people very different from you. That’s a great and good gift for the Kingdom of God is for all people.
To all who are weary and seek rest;
To all who mourn and seek comfort;
To all who sin and need a Savior;
To all who are friendless and need community;
To all who are broken and seek wholeness;
To all who have questions and long for truth;
To all who hunger and thirst for righteousness …
Christ Community opens wide her doors and says, “Welcome!”
